Personally, I’m more of an introvert, so I know how it feels to be with a group of people yet at the same time feel excluded or left out. At work, we usually have team lunches once a week. One time, I went with some of my fellow coworkers but saw someone else standing alone away from the group. I approached them and we chatted over lunch, and they got to know me and my coworkers better. Across various instances of doing this, I’ve noticed that our team has been more lively, and more people have been showing up to the office (work is still fully remote, so coming to office is optional). Not sure if this has improved our team productivity at all, but creating a friendly work atmosphere is definitely something I feel proud and happy about.

I attended my friends’ show to support them! They seemed a bit nervous before they went on stage, but quickly transformed into captivating performers. I cheered for them loudly and praised them for their stellar performance. They were delighted that a group of friends came out to show their support.
