  • Talking to the house flies

Two days ago, a family member was so annoyed by the house flies that flew around the kitchen. The person took out the fly smasher and wanted to kill the fly. I was doing the dishes then and when I saw what is going to happened, I commented, leave them alone, they will be gone before you knew it. I am glad the person listened to what i said, put down the smasher and walked out of the kitchen. I then passed a remark to the fly, I saved you now, if you still not going to leave, I can’t promise I can save you again. I then chanted Amitofo…

  • Wear a mask

We wear masks as soon as we step outside from our house. We step aside to have at least six feet away if we see other people. We avoid gatherings… sorry for missing to be present at the gatherings starting back in February of 2020. Wishing that this world will be peaceful soon!

  • Mr.

I live in London, UK. But I had so much fun — and gratitude in heart — while cooking, and my gracious guests loved the food. It was all gone before I remembered to take a photo to…

  • Staying in touch with parents

My parents recently moved to another country which has been a lifelong dream of theirs, but they expected they would be able to return periodically to stay connected with friends and family here. With the pandemic, all of those plans changed. This has been especially challenging for them as family members have graduated, passed away, and gotten married since the travel restrictions went in place. I’ve been trying to write them regular letters (emails) at least once every week or two to stay in touch with them so they feel more connected.
