This week’s story comes from Cary in Shanghai, China who helped replace the light bulbs that went out for the safety of the local elderly folks.
“My family lives on the fifth floor of a six-storey building. There are many elderly living there. One day I found that the lights in the third and fifth floor had gone out. These two lights are in the public corridor. It was dangerous for the elderly to go downstairs that evening. So I asked my parents for help and replaced them at once. After solving this problem, I am very glad to see these lights shining at night. It’s useful for the elderly in case of any unexpected accident. Meanwhile I hope these lights will illuminate the wisdom of the native inhabitants in their hearts. They will have access to the Buddhadharma in the future. Amitabha!”
